Moody Island

Moody Island (77°20′S 149°12′W / 77.333°S 149.2°W / -77.333; -149.2) is an ice-covered island 10 nautical miles (18 km) long, between Kizer and Steventon Islands in the Sulzberger Ice Shelf Mapped from surveys by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and U.S. Navy air photos (1959-65). Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for E.L. Moody, dog-driver with the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1933-35).
