It controls the six team national league in Mongolia, as well as the Mongolian national ice hockey team, whose first appearance in an IIHF event was the 2007 IIHF World Championship Division III tournament, and is currently ranked 45th in the world.[1] They have since taken part in the 2008 IIHF Division III World Championship. In April 2010, they will take part in the 2010 IIHF World Championship Division III Group B in Yerevan, Armenia.
