The Scarce Merveille du Jour (Moma alpium) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in the Palearctic ecozone.

The wingspan is 30-35 mm. The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Oak, European Beech and Birch.
