Mohammad Hassan Ganji Ph.D (born 11 June 1912 in Birjand) was a prominent Iranian meteorologist and academic.[2][3] He is credited as being the father of geography in Iran.[4]

Ganji established the Iran Meteorological Organization in 1955 and served as the head of Iran's Department General of Meteorology from 1956 to 1968.
