Modrič is a village in the Pohorje hills in the Slovenska Bistrica municipality in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Podravje statistical region.[2]

A small chapel in the village centre was built in 1863.[3]

In 1893 an Ancient Roman archaeological site was excavated near the settlement and remains of a Mithraeum were discovered.[4]
