Mithun Perera is a Sri Lankan golfer. His father, Nandasena Perera, is also a notable golfer. Mithun is the winner of the 2009 Third Annual Asia Pacific Amateur Championship, Mission Hills, China.[1][2] In 2010, he became the first ever Sri Lankan golfer to qualify for the Australian Open.[2] In 2011 he turned professional and currently plays in the Indian PGA Tour circuit. So far this Season he has played 9 tournaments, and is 10th in the rankings.
