Mithun Purandare (born 29 May 1981[1] is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. A former model, Purandare was a top 5 finalist at the Haywards 5000 Mr. India 2008 competition. He made his acting debut in the festival film called Kaash Hamara Dil Pagal na Hota. It was first time in Bollywood history where a real deaf and dumb girl was playing the lead role. He also acted in the 2005 Bollywood film, Mumbai Godfather opposite Seema Biswas. He has also acted in theatre with Ansh Group and Makarand Deshpande. He is currently workin on multiple projects with national award winner Rajiv Patil, Makarand Deshpande and Mugdha Godse. He is also ISSA Certified (USA) personal trainer working with exclusive clients. He also completed his Textile Engineering from Sasmira Institute, Mumbai.
