Mitchell Waite is known for many famous programming books he has written.^[1] His first book "Projects in Sight, Sound and Sensation" was published in 1974. He did a physics degree at Sonoma State University during 1971–1975.^[2]

He established Mitch Waite Group at 1977, which has published more than 80 titles in computer programming field.^[3] The company was later sold to Simon and Schuster.
