Career
The Great Work
After a few stagnant years without an active project, Belchë set out to form California-based rock band 'The Great Work'. Belche recruited bassist Matthew Rush, Rush had previously been bandmates playing guitar in Now We Are Six which had recently completed their final EP prior to disbanding. Belche, then procured guitarist Aj Manalaysay and drummer Kris Shinn from post-hardcore act At The Helm, a project that had recently run its course and recently disbanded. The five-piece set out to create a new experience blending their two different backgrounds creating a cohesive marriage of ambience and aggression.
