Unsigned state highways← MS 304 MS 306 → Mississippi Highway 305 is a north-south highway in DeSoto and Tate counties. It runs from the Mississippi/Tennessee state line, south through eastern DeSoto and Tate counties to its southern terminus at Mississippi Highway 4, just east of the community of Looxahoma.
MS 305's northern terminus lies at State Line Road in Olive Branch, continuing as Riverdale Road in Shelby County, Tennessee. MS 305 then continues south through Olive Branch to the junction with Mississippi Highway 302. The five-lane section of MS 305 between State Line Road and MS 302 is signed as Germantown Road.
The three-lane (two driving lanes and a center turn lane) and five-lane section of MS 305 from MS 302 south to the Olive Branch city limits is signed as Cockrum Road. From MS 302, MS 305 continues south, passing through a grade-separated interchange with U.S. Route 78, where MS 305 widens to five lanes until it intersects with Church Road.
MS 305 then continues south as a two-lane highway, passing through the communities of Cedarview and Lewisburg, crossing the Coldwater River bottom and passing through the community of Cockrum before reaching the DeSoto/Tate county line.
From the DeSoto/Tate county line, MS 305 runs south through the community of Independence, to the southern terminus at Mississippi Highway 4, just east of the community of Looxahoma.
