Itzhak Miron (born 31 August 1953) is a psychologist (PhD in psychology) and practices at the institute that bears his name in the city Piatra Neamţ.

Biography

Psychologist Itzhak Miorn was born in the city of Haifa in Israel. At the age of 4, went with his parents in Brazil. He lived 4 years in São Paulo. At the age of 9, parents have divorced and the mother together with Itzhak and his sister returned to Israel. Less than happy childhood, no father and financial problems have influenced young Itzhak Miron.

After high school, he was 3 years in army. In this time, he met Elinor, who will become his wife and great support for his progress. In 1975 he joined the Faculty of Sociology and History. During the faculty has been very active as a writer, publishing articles and stories for children. He liked to work with children and provide them with psychological help. Thus, he extended the study of psychology, social work, criminology and anthropology. In 1980 he began to master in psychology and completed in 1984. At the same time he worked in a psychiatric hospital, particularly with street children.

In 1984 was hired as chief of mental health issues in the Israeli Army. Then he worked in the Ministry of Health. In 1993 he opened a private center of psychological and social assistance.

In 1995 he enrolled in PhD program at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iaşi. In 1999 he finished his doctorate and opened a center in Piatra Neamţ. His work has been viewed with suspicion and distrust from colleagues and authorities. In time, he became famous specialist in clinical psychology. In 10 years of activity in Neamţ County, has treated thousands of cases, participated in TV and wrote articles. He is a trainer at the school of ericksonian psychotherapy and supervises young psychologists.

Dr. Miron Itzhak has 3 girls, all having outstanding performance. Elder girl was chess champion in Israel and 4th in world chess championship in Duisburg, Germany, 1993. The second girl was vice champion at chess and the third was tennis champion. His daughters practice coaching in Israel.

Dr. Miron and his first wife divorced, and now he is married to dr. Mihaela Irimia and have a daughter together, Maya.
