Mirco Antenucci (born 8 September 1984) is an Italian footballer and striker currently playing for Torino in Serie B.

Career

Giulianova

Antenucci began his professional career in 2002, with Serie C1 club, Giulianova Calcio, where in two seasons with the club, the young striker managed to make 35 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

In mid-2004, Antenucci transferred to A.C. Ancona. Antenucci managed 27 Serie C2 appearances, scoring just 2 goals.

On 1 July 2005, Antenucci returned to Giulianova. Antenucci managed to re-enter to starting XI in 2006–07 season.

Catania

In July 2007 he was signed by Catania[1] and loaned to Venezia of Serie C1. He made 27 league appearances with 5 goals.

On 1 July 2008, Antenucci returned to Catania and enter the first team squad. He made 4 substitute appearances under, then coach, Walter Zenga in the first half of 2008–09 Serie A. On 5 January 2009, Mirco Antenucci was sent out on loan to Serie B club Pisa Calcio, to gain experience and playing time. During his six month spell with the Serie B club, Antenucci scored 6 goals in 18 appearances although the club failed to avoid relegation and also bankrupted.

On 19 August 2009, Catania opted to send out the striker on another loan deal to Ascoli[2] where he joined fellow Catania loaners Marcello Gazzola and Vito Falconieri. Since his transfer to Ascoli, the player really thrived, earning a guaranteed starting position and made 40 appearances in the league, with a impressive 24 goals. He only missed the first round of the season and suspended once.[3] The player returned to Catania for the 2010–11 Serie A season.

On 23 January 2011, it was announced that he joined Torino in a co-ownership deal.[4]
