The Ministry of Health is responsible for policy direction, sets and monitors standards, provides funding, supporting the regional health authorities and provincial health services.
Deputy Minister's Office
The Deputy Minister's Office includes three branches: (1) Communications Branch; (2) Quality and Process Improvement Branch and (3) Saskatchewan Surgical Initiative. [1] The other divisions of the ministry also report to the Deputy Minister.
