‡ National team caps and goals correct as of 4 May 2011Mike Mutyaba (born 23 March 1994) is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays for Bunamwaya SC in the Ugandan Super League. He usually plays as attacking midfield on the left however he has the ability to play effectively on the right or upfront. He is one of the most promising youngsters in Uganda and is regarded as one of the best players in the domestic league. His talents have already been noticed by the National Team coach Bobby Williamson who has capped the youngster on numerous occasions.[1]

Personal life
Mike studied at St Mary's School in Kitende alongside current team mates Ibrahim Juma and Godfrey Walusimbi before going full time with Bunamwaya SC. He spent 4 months in England during 2010 and attracted the attention of several clubs including Fulham F.C., Charlton Athletic F.C., Crystal Palace F.C. and Yeovil F.C. whom all wanted to sign the young talent but were prohibited to do so due to FIFA statutes regarding the transfer of under age players.
Club career
Bunamwaya SC
Mike Mutyaba joined the club strait from school having previously been an academy player for his local club Express FC and made his debut almost immediately. Despite being so young he showed a maturity on the field which has seen him be a first team regular since he first joined the club.
International career
Mike Mutyaba is now a full member of the National Team since making his debut and impressing in early 2010. He has captained the U20 sides on numerous occasions under the guidance of Frank 'Video' Anyau who states that any side that include Mike has an added advantage.[2]
