Zeller, 1850Micropterix myrtetella is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae. It was described by Philipp Christoph Zeller in 1850.[1] It is found in Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Ukraine.[2]
It inhabits outskirts of medium canopy height to tall, dense mediterranean woody shrubland.[3]
The length of the forewings is 2.2–2.8 mm for males and 2.7–3 mm for females.
