Michael Simms is the creator of the Tux Games website and the founder of Linux Game Publishing.

Biography

He started using Linux when he was at university. In 2000 — 2001 he worked in Wcities as Lead product architect.[1] He was a beta tester Loki’s Civilization: Call to Power and Descent 3. [2] In response to being unable to order a version of Loki Software's port of Civilization: Call to Power from any British reseller, Michael created the Tux Games website, an on-line Linux games store.[3] The website went on-line ten seconds after midnight on January 1, 2000, selling its first title on January 3.[4] In response to Loki's demise and the effect it would have on Tux Games. Michael Simms invest 350,000 £ into a games company porting Windows titles to Linux. Linux Game Publishing was founded on October 15, 2001 to port and publish new games for Linux. Michael Simms remains the CEO and is also the Head of Development.[3] He like play in Majesty.
