He is the author of Guide To Investing in Gold and Silver.

Personal life
Maloney was born in Salem, Oregon, and grew up in Los Angeles, CA area.[5] He dropped out of school at 10th grade due to problems with dyslexia.
At 17 he travelled the Western United States selling auto equipment. At age 23 he started his own sales firm, Maloney & Associates. The company was modestly profitable, but eventually went bankrupt.[citation needed]
In the 1980s, Maloney became a designer and manufacturer of high end stereo equipment, winning several engineering and industry awards[citation needed]. In 1992, his stereo amplification electronics were selected as one of five permanent exhibits at the royal Victoria & Albert Museum [6] in London.
In the 1990s, he launched a successful high-end audio design and manufacturing firm know as "T.H.E. Show".[7]
In 2000, Maloney's father died and he became trustee of his family's estate. This is when Maloney states he started to educate himself. It was the same time Apple had incorporated a "text to speech" program in every Mac operating system. This program enabled him to learn without his dyslexia being an issue.[5]
Based on his findings, in 2005 Maloney incorporated Gold and Silver, Inc. In 2010, he incorporated Mikemaloney.com

Maloney founded GoldSilver.com, a precious metals dealership, in August 2005. The company based in Southern California, specializes in precious metals investing and providing gold and silver dealer and storage services for the retail customer.[2]
WealthCycles.com
Maloney founded WealthCycles.com in June 2010. The company is a financial education site that puts a comprehensive toolkit of information including analysis of current economic conditions, historical perspective and practical how-to-applications.[8]
Book
In 2008 Maloney wrote "Guide to Investing in Gold and Silver".[9] which is part of Robert Kiyosaki's 'Rich Dad Advisors' series of books. Maloney's book being the number-one selling precious metals investment book.[10]
