Music
Main article: Sleepaway (band)O'Mara is a founding member of Sleepaway but retired to focus on his education shortly after the release of the band's eponymous debut album in 2006. Before joining Sleepaway, he was a member of the now-defunct band Southline. His influences include New Found Glory, blink-182, and Saves the Day. He learned to play guitar by "going online and downloading guitar tabs."
Personal life
O'Mara was born in and resides in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Actor William Fichtner is his uncle. He graduated from Maryvale High School in 2003 and received his bachelor's degree from Canisius College in 2008.
O'Mara is currently pursuing a career in music promotion. His hobbies include playing video games, UFOs, ghosts, and watching That '70s Show, The Office, and Scrubs. O'Mara has a shamrock tattoo. He has stated that, off the record, he is currently in a committed relationship.[1]
