Michael Klein (10 October 1959 in Amnaş - 2 February 1993 in Krefeld) was a Romanian footballer who played as a left back. He was selected to represent Romania at both the Euro 84 and 1990 FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Career

Klein played for Romanian clubs Corvinul Hunedoara and Dinamo Bucureşti before he moved abroad to play for German club Bayer Uerdingen in 1990. When Uerdingen were relegated following Klein's first season at the club, he followed them to the lower 2nd Bundesliga division.
