Meghan K. Barnes

Meghan K. Barnes is an American memoirist, essayist, editor, and children's novelist.

Meghan K. Barnes was born in Somers Point, New Jersey and grew up in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington and received her BFA in Fiction in 2009 and her MFA in Non Fiction in 2011.[1]

She worked as the non fiction editor for Gloom Cupboard Literary Magazine from 2009-2011. She was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in Non Fiction in 2010 and in Fiction in 2010.
