- Meenakshi Express

The Indore - Ajmer Meenakshi Express (or Minaxi Express or Meenaxi Express) was the only superfast train for the ziyarat to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Sharif dargah in Ajmer in Rajasthan. The train was also important to Hindu pilgrims to visit Pushkar Brahma Temple in Ajmer.
Due to the 1985 gauge conversion from Ajmer to Akola, this train express has been cancelled as is no longer in operation.

Route
The train stops at Fatehabad, Ratlam, Chittaurgarh and Bhilwara in both directions.
Coach composite
The train was comprise of One AC 2 Tier, Two AC 3 Tier, Seven Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class, two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches totaling to eighteen carriages.
History
The Maratha and Rajputs inaugurated this train as a Meter Gauge Link on Rajputana-Malwa Railways as a Daily passenger train to Ajmer via, Fatehabad, Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur and Chittorgarh.
The Train was terminated due to gauge conversion in the mid of 1985 till date. On completion of Akola--Khandwa - Indore section, the train is expected to re-route and the train will be operated on daily basis.
Jaipur - Indore - Khandwa Burhani Express
The Historical Burhani Express between Jaipur and Indore as well as Indore and Khandwa is also expected to be renovated by the people of Indore.
Loco Link
A diesel engine hauls the train from Akola to Ratlam. WDM3A loco of Ratlam Diesel Shed leads the train from Ratlam to Ajmer via Mandsaur on both directions.
