Medical robots

Medical robots

Medical Robots are robots that allow doctors greater and more precise and less-invasive access to area of operations. They are in most telemanipulators which use doctor’s action on one side and an "effector" on the other side. Their task is to control the movements of the doctor's work and decide the tasks that need to be performed. The effector, as the name suggests, has to perform those tasks.

Types of medical robots

Surgical robots
Their most important feature is the increased precision and quality of operations.
Rehabilitation robots
This group facilitates and supports the lives of infirm, elderly people, or those with dysfunction of movement organs. These robots are also used for rehabilitation and any related procedures, such as training or therapy.
Biorobots
It's a group of robots designed to imitate humans and animals that we use for cognitive aims. We are also dealing here with robotic systems.
