-
The University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts's Media Arts and Practice (iMAP) Ph.D. program first accepted students in 2007. iMAP is a practice-based Ph.D. program, in which students develop skills in both the theory and practice of media arts, doing doctoral level research that may be realized in an exclusively digital form. Media Arts and Practice deploys a web aggregator composed of feeds by students and faculty, for whom the site functions as a collectively authored research space.
