Me&John is a Juno Award Winning, Gemini nominated record production, engineering, mixing, and songwriting duo based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The duo is composed of Ryan Kondrat and John La Magna.^[1] The two have created music from a myriad of genres, ranging from dance, hip-hop, folk, and pop.^[2] The duo has ventured into advertising; making tunes for numerous multi-million dollar campaigns for companies like East Side Marios, Heineken, Coors Light, and Cogeco.^[3]

The two met at school in 2002. They began their career in the dance music scene as ghost writers for Jelo, Donald Glaude, and DJ Dan. They soon merged into the television and advertising side of the music industry working for Syndicate Sound in Toronto. At Syndicate Sound they were able to write music in a fully equipped professional studio, and also produce scores for Project Runway Canada Season 1&2 (Global/Slice), Make the Politician Work (CBC), Keys to the VIP Season 1 – 3 (CTV/Comedy), Star Rate (Discovery), Nerve (CBC), Smart Ask (CBC).^[4] The two have since left Syndicate Sound and currently compose and produce for Pirate Toronto's radio and television department.^[5]

Through their music production they developed a relationship with the Toronto based group Broken Social Scene. Their connection led them to the role of co-writing and producing Brendan Canning’s latest album “Broken Social Scene Presents Brendan Canning”.

Me&John have recently produced original songs for Juno award-winnng artist Shad, and remixes for notable artists Nelly Furtado, LIGHTS, Lushlife, and Divine Brown ^[6]
