Province Extreme-Nord Province Capital Yagoua Area – Total 2,047.5 sq mi (5,303 km2) Population (2005) – Total 529,061 Time zone WAT (UTC+1) Mayo-Danay is a department of Extreme-Nord Province in Cameroon. The department covers an area of 5,303 km² and at the 2005 Census had a total population of 529,061.[1] The capital of the department is at Yagoua.
