Mayiladuthurai taluk is a taluk of Nagapattinam district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Mayiladuthurai.
Population
According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Mayiladuthurai had a population of 367,074 with 182,832 males and 184,242 females. There were 1008 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 78.62. The total number of households was 82,076.
