Maximilian Ziegelbauer (born September 6, 1923) is a German prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.

Maximilian Ziegelbauer was born in Memmingen, Germany and was ordained a priest on May 21, 1950. Ziegelbauer was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Augsburg Diocese on August 2, 1983 as well as Titular bishop of Lapda and ordained October 22, 1983. Ziegelbauer retired from the Augsburg diocese on September 7, 1998
