TVi
Max Khortytsky is a news anchor and correspondent for international TVi channel, based at headquarters in Kiev. He regularly anchors economic segment for TVi's evening news flagman "S'ogodni"("Today")
Khortytsky joined TVi channel in 2008. He's one of the youngest news anchors in Ukraine.
Career
Khortytsky started his career at the age of 17 as a reporter and news-anchor for State Broadcast Company in Zaporizhia. In 2003 he became a regional reporter for first Ukrainian news radio-network "ERA FM". His first breaking coverage was of region's falsification in 2004 Ukrainian presidential election. During the Orange Revolution, Khortytsky transferred to "ERA FM" headquarters in Kiev as a news reporter.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
In 2005 he joined Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Kiev's bureau. Khortytsky worked there as reporter for everyday news-project "Sounds of Life". He has covered for RFE/RL the first breakup of the "orange coalition", torture by Ukrainian police, privatization of Kryvorizhstal and the first revaluation of the hryvnia in 2005.
