- Matthew Henson State Park

Matthew Henson State Park is a greenway along the Turkey Branch of Rock Creek in Aspen Hill, Maryland.[1] The park takes its name from arctic explorer Matthew Henson.[2] A hiking/biking trail through the park was completed in 2009.[3] The state park is managed by Montgomery County under an agreement with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.[1]
