He claimed a bronze medal (100m breaststroke) at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Bois captured a silver medal in the 200m breaststroke and a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke at the 2006 Canadian Pan Pacific Championship Trials in Montreal. He represented Canada at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, recording a pair of top 10 results. Bois made his Olympic debut at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, PR China.
