Maruny — Village — Coordinates: 53°51′N 20°39′E / 53.85°N 20.65°E Country Poland Voivodeship Warmian-Masurian County Olsztyn County Gmina Barczewo Maruny [maˈrunɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barczewo, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Barczewo and 13 km (8 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
