Barczewo [IPA-pl|b|a|r|'|cz|e|w|o] ( _de. Wartenburg in Ostpreussen, _lt. Vartėnai) is a place in Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland. It is located 20 km NE of Olsztyn.

It has been a part of Poland since 1945. The Polish municipality first translated its name to Wartembork, when that still sounded 'too German' on December 4, 1946 they again renamed it after Walenty Barczewski (1865-1928).
