(1989)Marty Stuart is an eponymous album, and the third solo output by country singer Marty Stuart. It was released in 1986 on Columbia, his only disc with that label. His next record, 1989's Hillbilly Rock, would see him jump ship to MCA.

Overview
The album features 9 songs, four of which were co-written by Stuart. It contains strong flavors of bluegrass and rockabilly, helped to no end by guest guitarist (and rockabilly legend) Duane Eddy. As well as Eddy, star players such as Vince Gill (whose own career with MCA would explode in the 90's) and Conway Twitty keyboardist Shane Keister alst make an appearance.
