Marthoma Residential School (MTRS) is a co-educational institution located in Kuttapuzha, Tiruvalla at a distance 1 km from the town, and affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. Enrollment is approximately 2000 students.
The school was started in 1974 by the Mar Thoma Educational Agency, Tiruvalla, which is a charitable body registered under the Travancore - Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955.
The school has classes starting from kindergarten till 12th Standard. Recently the school has also started a teachers training institute. It houses separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, a football ground, a basketball ground and a volleyball ground. Indoor games like Table Tennis, Badminton are supported in an internal auditorium.
