Opened in October 2008, the stores are said to be less than half the size of a conventional supermarket, as stated in the backgrounder found on Wal-Mart's official homepage. Each of their stores is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Marketside emphasizes fresh products from major grocery brands while maintaining Wal-Mart's low prices.[1]
Locations
All of the first four stores (Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Tempe) are in Arizona. [1]
