Mark Neville Atkinson (born 11 February 1969, in Sydney, New South Wales) is a former Australian cricket player, who played for Tasmania. He played for the Tigers from 1990 until 2000, and was a regular feature in both their first class and one-day sides.

He was an excellent wicket-keeper, and capable lower order batsman, who often provided stout resistance whilst allowing top-order batsmen to continue their innings. He proved remarkably agile for his diminutive size, and he proved adept keeping to all types of bowling. His batting technique was less than stylish, but he had a full range of shots, and enjoyed going on the attack when the opportunity presented itself.

At the height of his career he was listed as a backup for national team wicket-keeper Ian Healy, but the call-up never came. However, he did once represent Australia 'A' against England in Hobart in 1994, taking one catch and one stumping, and scoring 51 not out.

Mark Atkinson currently holds the record for the most dismissals by a Tasmanian wicket-keeper.
