Mark Joseph Donahue (born January 28, 1956) is a former All-American football offensive guard who played with the University of Michigan Wolverines and the Cincinnati Bengals.
A native of Oak Lawn, Illinois, Donahue attended Brother Rice High School in the Chicago Catholic League before enrolling at the University of Michigan. Donahue was a two-time consensus All-American lineman, earning the honor in 1976 and 1977. He was the 13th player in Michigan football history to be twice honored as an All-American and was considered one of the finest pulling guards ever to play at Michigan.
Donahue was a varsity letterman on the 1975 and 1976 offensive lines that produced both of the games in which Michigan had three rushers accumulate 100 yards.[1][2][3]
Professional career
Donahue was selected in the 11th round of the 1978 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals and played offensive guard for the Bengals in 1978 and 1979.
