He began his career and as a sports anchor and reporter in Miami Beach before moving to
Los Angeles as a sports anchor, from 1977 to 1985, forKCBS-TV . From 1980-90, he was the host ofESPN 's "SportsLook" and was also the host of "Up Close Prime Time".In addition to being a journalist, Firestone is also a critically-acclaimed performer. He has made appearances on the "
Late Show with David Letterman ", "Larry King Live ", "Super Dave Osborne " and "Nightline". He has also performed for numerous corporate clients includingAnheuser Busch , Chevron, Nike andToyota .He starred in a
