In 2006 he won promotion to the Primera Division Argentina with Belgrano de Córdoba, but the club were relegated after only one season in the top flight and Bolatti was transferred to Portugal's FC Porto in July 2007, signed a 4-year contract.[4] Porto holds 60% registrations rights for future transfer fees the club received and a unnamed parties holds the remain 40%.
In July 2009, Porto sold all its registration rights (but acquired another 20% economic rights from unknown parties) to Natland Financieringsmaatschappij B.V. in order to acquire Radamel Falcao's remain registration rights from the Dutch company.[5]
He moved on a six month loan to Huracán for the Clausura 2009 upon recommendation from Porto teammate Lucho Gonzalez.[citation needed] He was selected as the best player in Clausura 2009 by Argentine sports daily Olé and was a key player in Huracán's championship bid, which was thwarted by Vélez Sarsfield in the last day.
