Margarita Ortigas, better known as Marga Ortigas, is the Manila-based correspondent for Al Jazeera English.^[1][2]

She recently received a special prize from the International Committee of the Red Cross for Humanitarian Reporting. ^[3]

She was previously a news field producer, editor, and reporter with CNN International, anchor, reporter and producer at ABS-CBN, and GMA Network in the Philippines.^[4][5][6]
