Mararit people

Mararit people

Mararit is an ethnic group from Chad and Darfur in Sudan. Most members of this ethnic group are Muslims. They speak Mararit language, which is a Nilo-Saharan language. Some members of this ethnic group are Arabized. The population of this group is at several 10,000.
