Maninder Singh Bitta is an Indian politician. He is the president of All India Anti-Terrorist Front.[1] He was the President of Indian Youth Congress which is the Youth wing of Indian National Congress in September 1993 when he was injured in an assassination attempt.[2] Subsequently Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar was awarded death sentence in connection with this bombing.[3][4] [5] Bitta had previously lost a leg in a bombing in which 13 people had been killed by Sikh separatists in Amritsar in 1992.[2]
