The Philippine National Book Awards, or simply the National Book Awards, is a Philippine literary award sponsored by the NBDB (National Book Development Council)[1] and the MCC (Manila Critics Circle). It is the national book award of the Philippines. The yearly awards have been given since 1982 by the Manila Critics' Circle, starting in 2008 the administration of the award changed to the NBDB. Award categories include:
