The Feathered Ear (Pachetra sagittigera) is a species of moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Central and Southern Europe, east to the Ural, north to southern England, Sweden and Finland. Southwards it is found from Anatolia, Central Asia and the Altai up to Mongolia. It is also present in North Africa.
The wingspan is 32-45 mm. Adults are on wing from May to July. There is one generation per year.
The larvae feed on various grasses, including Festuca ovina, Poa and Gramineae species.
