The Church, in the center of Obilić.

The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God (Serbian: Црквa Мала Госпојина / Crkva Mala Gospojina) is a Serbian Orthodox Church in Obilić, central Kosovo.[a] As of 2008, it serves some 2,200 Serbs in the municipality of Obilić.[1] It is ecclesiastically part of the Eparchy of Raška and Prizren.

It was left during the Kosovo War. The first liturgical service was held in 2003, on the Nativity of the Theotokos (8 September). It was destroyed in the 2004 unrest (17–18 March). It has since been renovated, although not fully.

Notes

a.   ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo. The latter declared independence on 17 February 2008, while Serbia claims it as part of its own sovereign territory. Its independence is recognised by 85 UN member states.
