Make Your Own History is the fifth studio album by Stray from the Path. The album was released on October 26, 2009, via Sumerian Records. The song "Damien" was released as a single in July 2010. The album is also the band's breakthrough album in the hardcore scene.[citation needed]

Make Your Own History has received positive feedback from the metal and hardcore scene. Bring On Mixed Reviews stated, "From start to finish, it is a non-stop, blunt, punch to the face. Thankfully though, it is much less dull than other frantic bands out there." The review gave the album a rating of 3.5 out of 5.[3]
