Santhanam.
Run by the Principal, Mrs. K. Krishnaveni (who was then a renowned Physics teacher), the school remains committed to providing quality education and inculcating strong ethical values in its students.
The school has notable teachers viz., Ms. Mary Evelyne, who taught English Mr. Rajaram who taught Tamil.
Campus
Mahatma Gandhi Centenary Vidhyalaya provides education from nursery to Class X. To ensure the complete development of the children, the school encourages the students to take part in various co-curricular activities held in school, including music, dance, arts, and sports.[citation needed]
The campus is equipped with modern infrastructural facilities, including ventilated classrooms, access to the latest teaching aids, rich library, state-of-the-art computer labs, science labs, and playground.[citation needed].But the play ground is not big enough to play any outdoor sports and many good teachers have left the school.Smart classes have also been installed by Educomp to provide a new method of teaching to the students. From the year 2011, Mrs. K.Krishnaveni retired from the principal post and Mrs. Jikki Kanagavalli(English department) has been appointed as the principal of this school.
