Maggie Leonie Edmond (nee Suchestow) is one half of the Melbourne-based architectural firm she runs with her husband Peter Corrigan, Edmond and Corrigan. She has been described by Neil Clerehan as "probably the nation's foremost female architect".[1] Maggie studied Architecture at Melbourne University alongside her first husband, renowned landscape architect Robin Edmond. Maggie has been a member of the Deakin University Council since 1999, acting as Deputy Chancellor from 2004 until 2007. Maggie also sits as chairperson of Deakin University's Campus Planning Committee.[2] She is the daughter of Melbourne Fashion designer Linda Suchestow, who ran the fashion label 'Linda Patricia.' [3]
