Jerónimo Figueroa Cabrera, aka Momo (born 15 July 1982 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Real Betis as a winger.

Football career

Momo was signed from hometown UD Las Palmas in 2004 by Deportivo de La Coruña. Rarely used at Depor, he served three loans in four years: Albacete Balompié, Racing de Santander and second division's Xerez CD. His La Liga debut came on 28 August 2005, playing 36 minutes in a 1–0 win at RCD Mallorca, and four of his five appearances for the Galicians during that season came from the bench; he was definitely released in August 2008.

For 2008–09, already a free agent, Momo remained at Xerez, being instrumental in the Andalusians first ever top flight promotion, as he netted 17 times in the league alone (fifth-best).

Momo's offensive production dicreased significantly in the topflight season, as he only scored on two occasions, both against Málaga CF on 7 March 2010 (4–2 away win). In late June, after the club's relegation, he signed with Real Betis, which in turn had failed to promote.
