Origins

Dwell began trading with a single store in Balham in 2003.[2] From there, it has grown to have multiple locations in London including Balham, Islington, Kingston, Richmond, Tottenham Court Road and Westfield. There are a total of 25 stores across the UK including key areas such as Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.[3]

Operations

Dwell is based at its head office in Oxford Circus, London.[4] The flagship store is located in Tottenham Court Road, London.[5]

Dwell operates a fleet of delivery vehicles and independently delivers furniture to locations across the UK. All[citation needed] deliveries are sourced from a central warehouse in Milton Keynes[6]. The company also operates an e-commerce website.

In 2010, the company has recently received £5m in funding from Key Capital Partners.[7][8] The company has announced plans from 2010 to expand to 60 stores and 20 concessions across the UK within five years.[9][10]
